Kurnell Outrigger Canoe Club receives Local Sports Grant from NSW Government.

We would like to thank Mark Speakman (MP for Cronulla) and the the NSW Government for the Local Sports Grant for much needed uniforms and paddle equipment for the club.

Our Mission Statement is

  • To promote, encourage and develop the sport of outrigger canoeing in Kurnell for all the community, including a strong emphasis on junior development, women & minority groups.
  • To promote good kinship among paddlers of all backgrounds, with a view to grow;
  • To promote the sport of outrigger canoe racing with a goal to grow the sport in NSW;
  • To provide opportunities for paddles to take part in training activities, regattas and other events considered advantageous for the KOCC Club and the local community of Kurnell. ​​
And most of all to enjoy the sport, make great new friendships and build a deep respect of the ocean.
